The driver must be at least 23 years old and have held a valid driving licence for two years or more. The upper age limit is 75. Bring your licence and passport when collecting the car.

Fuel is not included in the daily price; optional add-ons such as child seats and deductible reduction are charged separately.

Published daily prices include VAT.
Basic insurance included; standard deductible NOK 9,000
All rentals include standard insurance covering collision damage, theft and third-party liability under Norwegian regulations. Roadside assistance is included. The standard deductible is NOK 9,000 per incident; an optional deductible reduction lowers it to NOK 0 for an additional daily fee (one incident only).
Unlimited mileage
Unlimited mileage is included on every rental.
Secure payment link by email; balance due 10 days before pick-up
After submitting a reservation, a secure payment link is emailed from booking@explore-flam.com within 24 hours. If the total exceeds NOK 10,000, a link for NOK 10,000 is sent first and the balance is due 10 days before pick-up.
Free cancellation up to 7 days before pick-up (10 days for one-way rentals)
Contact the company to change or cancel free of charge up to 7 days before pick-up, and up to 10 days before pick-up for one-way rentals. If a cruise ship does not arrive in Flåm, the booking is refunded in full.
